KESSEL Grease Separators and Lifting Stations in Deira Mall

Deira Mall, on the Deira Islands, is named as the biggest mall in the Middle East. Star attractions are state of the art retractable glass roof which will bring natural light into the complex. Allows open air shopping during cooler months. It is situated on the Deira Islands and has access to a 21 km beach front.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Lack of basement in this project faced a challenging situation on the choice of the product and also on the placement of the same.
We were actively involved in the sizing of the separator and lifting station with help from the TED JACOBS team. The Client Nakheel was also involved in the decision making and was in direct contact with us.

SOLUTION PROVIDED

The solutions provided was placing the Kessel products in a way that will minimize the footprint of the pit / location.

Out of the 30 pieces needed, we received an order for 27. The flow rate totals to an unprecedented value of 262 l/s. All of grease separators were supplied with Sampling Chamber, Remote Control and Sonic Control. Installation has been completed in 8 locations.
