Job Description Job Objective  
Proactively supports the Technical Services Division in all aspects of after-sales service. As a member of the Service Team must lead by example, complying with the relevant operating procedures while ensuring that exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction are delivered and maintained.  

Specific responsibilities:
 
  • Take hands-on approach and participate in system start-up and commissioning of equipment, work with other Service Technicians on onsite repairs.
  • Ensure all Service functions are in compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/ ISO requirements.
  • Provide repair cost estimates and calculations for quotations.
  • Maintain full records of all materials used in each job and ensure that the invoicing and payments are promptly made upon completion of the job.
  • Maintain time management in coordination with Service Coordinators.
  • Liaise with Customers and build long-term relationships by actively promoting BMD Product range and Service capabilities.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of team spirit, mutual respect and co-operation amongst all employees of the service operation.
  • Lead and coordinate technical root cause analysis, risk assessment, problem resolution and close out. 
  • Liaise with sales to ensure reliability is built into product design.
  • Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
  • Establish service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; carryout installation jobs as and when required; performing acceptance tests.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Keep service equipment and tools operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
  • Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of both service data and customer information.
Additional info Qualification 
Diploma/Certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience 5 Years of hands-on experience in a similar role with a preferable expertise in installation, testing and repairing of various types of pumps.

Computer skills Good in MS Office, internet and emails
Driving License Valid UAE manual driving license
Language skills Good communication skills in English and Hindi
